We observed that the female students who wore an abaya expected their modest apparel to be comfortable and relaxed during long hours of wearing yet be light and durable enough to facilitate an active student lifestyle without sacrificing mobility. We were challenged to keep abayas super light and breathable yet make them even more durable. After much research, we achieved this by making exclusive student abayas with a unique type of lighter, thinner, and stronger thread, from which the fabric was manufactured using our innovative open weave design, which increases the spaces between thread weaves in a way that increases breathability. This resulted in an abaya that was perfect for the mobile lifestyle of students without sacrificing their values of a modest lifestyle.
